Day 95! Down to one hand!

K-kun is taking a bit longer than anticipated (one of the characters speaks at a million miles an hour), so here’s some more Momon-chan instead!

We’ll most likely be picking up Dibetagurashi. However, I haven’t been able to find any HD raws for 1-2, so if anyone has any, please let me know!
For now, we’ll only be releasing in 480p. First few episodes will probably be out at the end of this week.

Momon-chan – 09 & 10

Been a while since I’ve released some Momon! K-kun will most likely be out tomorrow. Translator is busy with other stuff today, and the TV airing had an earthquake warning ticker on screen for about 30 seconds, which led to part of the video being cropped off by the station. Might have to play musical raws to fix the station’s overcropping.

In Ep10, Momon plays a piece by Chopin titled “幻想狂想曲”. Google search came back with Fantasy Rhapsody, but I couldn’t find that in Chopin’s list of piano compositions. The closest thing I could find was Fantaisie-Impromptu, so we used that instead. I don’t know much about classical music, so if we made a mistake about the piece name, please let us know!

Momon-chan – 01 & 02

And now for something that nobody has heard of! Not listed on AniDB/MAL yet.

Ikeike! Momon-chan is a series of shorts created to promote the Omote Sando upscale shopping center in Tokyo. Despite that, these shorts are relatively interesting and funny.

Each episode typically focuses on the comedic interactions between Momon-chan the peach girl and Tanu the tanuki, as they discuss everything from horoscopes, to Christmas, to tools that reference Doraemon (as seen in Ep2), to traditional Japanese New Year’s games, and much much more. While these first two episodes aren’t as funny, it picks up as the series progresses, so don’t be so quick to write it off!

The videos are a direct remux of the official Youtube streams, so the URL and Youtube logo are in the source.
Season 1 contains 15 main episodes and 3 specials, and according to the Youtube page’s sidebar, Season 2 will start streaming in May.

Since these episodes are super short, I’ll be doing double releases.
