Ai Mai Mi ED Single & Shiba Inuko-san OP1 Single
Found these on PD a few days ago, so I romanized the file names (not the tags), reorganized the files, encoded some MP3s, and packaged them up for easy downloading.
I don’t know too much about the “best” MP3 encoding settings, so apologies if I did something wrong.
Edit: Just did a quick search for Shiba Inuko-san OP2, and it turns out it was actually included on the Chitose Get You!! ED Singles disc. I haven’t really tried looking for it yet. If I come across it, I’ll probably release it.

Batches – Summer 2012 Edition
And here are the long-delayed batches for Shiba Inuko-san and PES!
Only change I made to Shiba is a new encode (and a couple of minor edits) to episode 12, since the original release was just muxed to a webstream raw. Unfortunately, I won’t be releasing a 10bit batch for Shiba due to transport streams missing for episodes 22 and 23.
PES sees some nice filtered 720p 10bit encodes, courtesy of mep from Stardust Fansubs.
Since CR is picking up a bunch of shows that I had my eyes on, and since Chiisana Ojisan seems to be airing on an inconsistent schedule (Episode 1 was re-aired this week, so Episode 3 next week I guess?), I’ll be focusing on my backlog this season.

PS: The Shiba Inuko-san special that aired on 9/30 had no animated parts (besides part of the OP sequence). It was basically a commercial for some Fighting DVD Collection.

Finally done with exams! Still gonna be slow on our end till next month, due to family plans and stuff.
21 and 22 will be released together towards the end of the month. Not going to try to sub on a weak netbook over “vacation”.
Jumbofiles is having problems or something (can’t upload anything). DDL much much later.
Also, Episode 26 will be the final episode (will air on September 23rd). Another short show, “Teekyuu”, will be airing in Shiba’s timeslot starting October 7th.
Will we do it? At the moment, yes. If some other quality subbers pick it up, we’ll drop it.

School has been kicking me in the arse this past week. Professors sure like to rush and cram as much material down your throat as they can during the end of the semester… Wish me luck on finals next week!

Shiba Inuko-san – 17
Lots of puns in this episode. I tried my best to make them make sense.
The main pun starts at 00:47, when the stuck-up girl says “neko kabutte iiko-chan no furi suru nante”, which translates to “Feigning ignorance and acting like a good girl…”, but the ironic thing about this line is that the feigning ignorance part literally means “wearing a cat on your head” in Japanese, which makes no sense at all. So in an attempt to combine “feigning ignorance” and the cat pun, I used “Acting like an innocent kitten”. (“innocent kitten” seems to be a meme or something as well, just Google it)
Another pun occurs at 00:57, when stuck-up girl says “Shiba Iiko-chan”. Iiko-chan translates to “good girl”, so I went with Good Girl Shiba (which reminds me of the Good Guy Greg meme >_>).
