Neon the Animation – 01

A joint with our friends over at ray=out. We’ll be handing the timing, editing, typesetting, and encoding, while ray=out will be handling the translation and final QC.

Neon is a series of shorts animated by students at the Osaka Animation College, designed to promote the Osaka electronic shopping district Nipponbashi. There are currently 3 shorts (2010, 2011, and 2012), and a 4th is expected to drop sometime this year.

This first episode is pretty short and relatively uneventful, but the second and third episodes are much more entertaining!

The Youtube video source for ep1 is pretty bad, so I tried my best to clean it up. 8bit only, since ep1 and ep3 were only posted in 480p.
