Chiisana Ojisan – 15
Can’t believe I was able to find more raws for this show. There’s a story behind this:
I was doing my somewhat usual checks of the Chiisana Ojisan Facebook and Twitter pages, and saw that a new post popped up earlier today about Chiisana Ojisan (the character) being chosen as a “mascot” character of a computer(?) security company in Nagano called Avis. The Facebook post went into more detail, saying that a new episode was posted on Avis’ site. I was curious about it, so I visited the linked page. There, I found that Avis was streaming 6 episodes: Episodes 1-5, and another episode that didn’t have an episode number. I was originally going to call this episode 9, but I noticed something fishy about the individual episode links: Episode 1’s link ended with 001, Episode 2 with 002, …, Episode 5 with 005. The new episode ended with 015, so I’m opting to call this episode 15. Keep in mind that the previous episodes followed somewhat of a storyline, so since this episode features completely new characters, placing it as 15 makes more sense.
So, I don’t have any raws for episodes 9-14. If anyone knows where I can get them, please please PLEASE let me know.
The a/v quality isn’t the best because I was forced to re-encode it, since I can’t mux wmv and wma.
…well, I guess a release is better than no release! I’ll continue to keep an eye out for more episodes.
On another note, I’m going to be dropping Haitai Nanafa for now. Sigh-Kaylith’s release fine, and I’d rather focus my time on unsubbed/poorly subbed shows. If they epicly stall or drop, we’ll pick up wherever they leave off.

Fall 2012 Batches & Winter 2012 Plans
These batches are a bit late, but I blame that on me being away for most of December and the beginning of January. To start things off, here are the batches of shows I’ve worked on this past Fall:
Chiisana Ojisan:

(I’m not sure if this show is over yet, but I haven’t seen any new episodes in over a month)

…yeah, not many projects, but that’s all about to change!
I hope I’m not setting myself up to burn-out, but I’ve decided to pick up a whole slew of projects this season, consisting of both new and old shows:
Older Shows:
Neon the Animation: Joint with ray=out. Short episodes designed to promote the Nipponbashi shopping district in Osaka. New episodes are shown on the shopping center TVs in March, and are expected to be uploaded to Youtube the following month. There are currently 3 shorts, with a 4th expected to drop this coming April.
Hipira-kun: 2009 series that’s being re-aired in HD on NHK-E. 1-10 have already re-aired, and the currently-unsubbed episodes 11-12 will air in March. We’ll be using Sakitty’s subs for 1-10, but we’ll translate 11-12 ourselves.
New Shows:
Haitai Nanafa: I know some other groups have already subbed it, but I’ll be going forward with it anyway. Right now, the first two episodes are pretty much done, but the translator is being held up by the somewhat wacky ED song. I don’t have any sort of ETA on when it’ll be ready. Dropped. Sigh-Kaylith’s release is fine, so I’m going to focus my time on other unsubbed/poorly subbed shows. If they epicly stall or drop it, I’ll pick up from where they left off.
Peeping Life World History: 6th Season in the Peeping Life series. I’m not really a big fan of the series, but it shouldn’t really take too much time to throw together.
Boku no Imouto wa Osaka Okan: Like I’ve stated earlier, we’ll be taking CR’s subs and redoing all of their typesetting. We’ll also do the webstream-only Episode 01.5 at a later date.
Ishida to Asakura: CR’s video (filtered) and subs, plus OP translation, plus the important signs missing from the CR/NicoNico streams that were present in the Tokyo MX broadcast. Here’s an example of what I mean:

Jigoku Yochien: I’m not going to focus on this show just yet, but I’ll continue to collect raws for it, to sub at a later date. If nobody else picks it up, we’ll sub it in a few months.
…wow, even I’m amazed at how much I’m doing.
And this marks my 11th consecutive day of releases! Let’s see how much longer I can keep this up! (Two batches count as one release, because I say so!)

Chiisana Ojisan – 02v2 & 03
Back for a bit. Sorry about the lack of releases, but final exams/projects and the thanksgiving holidays got in the way.
Unfortunately, my re-appearance will be short-lived, as I’m not going to have much internet access between mid-December and mid-January.
Anyway, here’s the scoop with the v2 and the whole raw situation:
Due to what I believe were production delays, episode 2 was not aired on TV, and episode 3 was aired in its place (which would explain the 3 weeks of re-runs after those two episodes). The real episode 2 was streamed on the official Chiisana Ojisan Youtube channel. Due to the scarcity of information about this show, I didn’t know this happened until the real episode 2 was streamed online. Because of this, I’ll be using the Youtube channel’s numbering as opposed to the TV numbering. (I’ll still try to stick to TV raws though, because the Youtube raws have some ghosting and badly needed some anti-aliasing).
And for those of you who are curious, the Shiba Inuko-san DVD did not have any extras (besides NCOP/NCED). I probably won’t release them.

This will probably be the only new show that I’ll be picking up this season (unless I can obtain any raws for Haitai Nanafa). I guess I’ll just focus on backlog.
I’ll have the 5 batches out by Saturday or Sunday (3 for PES, 2 for Shiba).
