Sparrow’s Hotel – 07
It looks like the “Season 2” I discussed in my previous post has finally been explained. According to the new promo art on the Sparrow’s Hotel website, Season 2 is the name they’re giving the second half of the series (Episodes 7-12), most likely due to the change in animation style. That’s a bit disappointing…

Sparrow’s Hotel – 06
So, I was watching the Ai Mai Mi NicoNico livestream thing, and towards the end they talked about some of the Takeshobo shorts, including Shiba Inuko-san, Sparrow’s Hotel, and Recorder to Randsell. Something interesting of note is that they referred to the Sparrow’s Hotel Director’s Cut DVD as “Sparrow’s Hotel Season 2”. Wonder if that means they’ll have entirely new episodes in addition to re-animations for the 12 TV episodes. Guess we’ll find out when the DVD comes out!
Additionally, I’m going to be stuck on a netbook with a crappy Internet connection for the next week or so, so releases will be a bit sporadic.

Ai Mai Mi ED Single & Shiba Inuko-san OP1 Single
Found these on PD a few days ago, so I romanized the file names (not the tags), reorganized the files, encoded some MP3s, and packaged them up for easy downloading.
I don’t know too much about the “best” MP3 encoding settings, so apologies if I did something wrong.
Edit: Just did a quick search for Shiba Inuko-san OP2, and it turns out it was actually included on the Chitose Get You!! ED Singles disc. I haven’t really tried looking for it yet. If I come across it, I’ll probably release it.

Now that I’m (pretty much) done with finals, it’s time to get back on the fansubbing train!
We’ll be doing double releases this week, to catch up on all the stuff we missed last week.
In other news, an anonymous donator has purchased the domain migo.to for us. For now, it’ll just be re-directing to this wordpress blog, but I’m looking to move to an actual host soon (since WP can shut me down at any time).
