Basket Army – 02

And here’s the second episode, which was streamed about 2 days ago!  While the first episode dealt with the main characters (the middle school soldiers tasked with protecting an item that will “save Japan’s future”), this second episode focuses on the members of the Trident company’s strike team that are being dispatched to Japan to fight in the “war”.

As you can probably tell, these shorts aren’t designed to be an actual series, but more of special promotions of key events that happen in the light novel/manga.

I originally planned to work on this over the weekend, but opted to work on it now since I have a ton of Uni work due next week. Since episodes are scheduled to come out every two months, I guesstimate that the next episode will stream on April 26th or something.

Plastic Nee-san 05 will probably be released Saturday at the earliest. OP and ED are causing a bit of trouble.

Yes, I am spamming your mini boards today but you have several minis I really like…this is another one! Thanks again for the great job all of you do!

Haha, that’s totally alright! The shows that I sub tend to be overlooked by most anime watchers, so there aren’t many people that I can discuss the shows with (hence why my release posts are somewhat long).
      Thanks for your continued support!

Wow, I thought it was coming out every other month! When’s the next episode?

Also, since this isn’t going to be a standalone piece, I don’t know whether I should watch it or not… I’d definitely need to read the light novels to really understand (which I don’t feel like doing), or just wait for an anime adaptation to be lit; yet, Madoka knows how long that’ll take…

If I recall correctly, back when Ep1 streamed at the end of December (my release was pretty late, due to me being home for the holidays), they announced that new episodes would be released every-other month. Since Ep2 was streamed on the last day of February, I’m guessing that Ep3 will be posted towards the end of April. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

    Thanks for your hard work.
    If can I ask, +tic nee-san 05 Op-ED how is proceeding?

Most of the songs have be transliterated, but there are a few hard-to-hear words that are causing problems for the translator. In addition, the translator is heading out to an anime convention over the weekend, so episode 5 probably won’t be released till Monday.
